Who we are

The London Planner provides residential architectural design, planning and technical drawing services to homeowners in London and the surrounding counties. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect the details you give us directly: your name, email address, telephone number, property address or postcode, and any information you include about your project.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you use the website, such as pages viewed and general location, to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation, to provide the services you engage us for, to keep records of the work we carry out, and to comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Sharing your information

Where relevant to your project, we may share information with your local planning authority, building control, structural engineers, surveyors or contractors — always only what is necessary for the work.

We use trusted service providers for email, file storage and website hosting, who process data on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months. Project records are retained for the period required by professional and legal obligations, typically six years after completion.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact office@thelondonplanner.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
